A Cultural Celebration in the Squares and Streets of Egypt
Cairo, Alexandria, Assiut, Suez, Minia, and Port Said
The Independent Culture Coalition is pleased to invite families and young people to the biggest cultural festival in Egypt to celebrate the Revolution of the Egyptian People, to emphasize the demands of this revolution and to enjoy music, poetry, theatre and visual arts. Locations and some participating artists are as follows:
Cairo: Abdeen Square – Ali El Haggar, Fathy Salama, Rami Issam, Zein El Abdeen Fouad, Amin Haddad and Khaled Saleh
Alexandria: Chez Gabi St. near Opera House – Storm, Station and Karakeeb bands, art workshops and exhibitions
Assiut: Bonouk Square – El Thawra Operetter, Bedayat, El Elba and Agyal theatre groups, Rap and Saint Therese Church Choir
Suez: Awel El Sour – Ahlam, El Semsemya Group, Mohamed Keshk
Minia: Cornish El Minia – Upper Egypt Choir, Malawi Dance Group, Jesuits theatre group
Port Said: El Shohadaa (El Massala) Square – Awlad El Morsi Semsemya Group, Popular Coalition Music and Singing Group
